Javelin thrower and Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra finished second in a star-studded field at the Lausanne leg of the Diamond League on Saturday, according to the media.
His fifth effort of 87.66m increased his advantage over the competition, as Julian Weber of Germany only managed 87.03m in his final attempt, according to Mid-Day.

Chopra started his first attempt in Lausanne with a foul throw, not the best way to start his campaign. He threw 83.52 metres in his second attempt, recording his first legal throw, however he finished third behind Julian Weber (86.20 metres) and Jakub Vadlejch (84.71 metres).’
