Consume only in limited quantity
People often make this mistake. They think that the decoction is made at home and it is ayurvedic, that is, if natural things are used in it, then it will not have any adverse effect. But consuming anything in excess can harm the body. It would be better if you consume the decoction only once a day. Drinking more decoction daily can lead to liver infection. This can also lead to liver failure.

Make a gap too
Since the ingredients used in the decoction are hot, apart from consuming them in limited quantity, you should also keep a little gap in between. This greatly reduces the chances of having any kind of health problem in your body.
At the same time, if you have any kind of health problem like diabetes or blood pressure problem, then you must consult a doctor once before consuming the kadha.
Excess of material can become a problem
Black pepper, cinnamon, turmeric, ashwagandha, giloy and dry ginger (why should dry ginger water be drunk in winter?) etc. are used while making Ayurvedic decoction.
The effect of these things is hot, due to which if they are put in more water than necessary while making the decoction, then it can cause problems in the body. Therefore, pay special attention to the fact that you use only a limited amount of ingredients. If you are making a kadhafor the first time, then first ask the expert about the method of making it and the prescribed quantity.

Amount of water
When you are making the decoction, you also have to keep in mind that the ingredients of all the ingredients are well absorbed in the water so that you get enough benefit from its consumption.
Therefore, when you make a decoction, after putting all the ingredients in the water, cook it until the quantity of water is reduced to half. Also, keep the flame of the gas low while cooking it. Remember that you do not have to drink the kadhaby filling the glass. It is just necessary that if you are taking half or even a quarter cup of decoction, then you should get its benefits.
